厳しい自然の中で生きる野生の命。
夏と冬で姿が変わる鳥が雷鳥です。
モチーフにしたのは冬の白い衣を纏った神秘的な姿です。
Hook:Old limarick 7/0
Tag:Silver round tinsel and red, white, black floss one sixth each. remainder light brown floss.
Tails:A topping and ring neck pheasant white tip neck feather.
Body:White floss ribbed with silver oval tinsel, narrow light brown and dark orange floss separately.
Hackle:White cock hackle.
Throat:Scarlet cock hackle covered with tragopan speckled feather and white quil.
Wings:8 pairs of feathers back to back. The sizes decrease towards the head. 1,4,7 are made of jungle cock spir shape feather dyed scarlet. 2,5,8 are made of himalaya pheasant white spotted feather. 3rd and 6th are made of white peahen flank feather. And a topping over all.
Cheeks:Small white peahen frank feather and small jungle.
Horn:Scarlet macaw.
Head:Black varnish.
ウイングを構成する８枚のフェザーはヘッドに行くにつれてサイズを徐々に小さくしていく。
トッピングは先端のカーブがきついものをえらんだ方がフォルムを整えやすい。
